PROVIDING RECREATIONAL THERAPY
TO ILL, INJURED AND COMBAT WOUNDED
SERVICE MEMBERS AND VETERANS!
Warfighter Made Helps in Four Main Ways
Warfighter Made is an organization committed to improving the mental health of military service members, veterans, and their families. They achieve this through several impactful programs:
-
Recreational Therapy: Warfighter Made provides recreational therapy to service members, veterans, and their families using a fleet of Polaris RZR vehicles. These off-road adventures take place on a private course, and some vehicles are specially adapted for those with catastrophic injuries. These events enhance quality of life, mental well-being, and family bonds.
-
Camaraderie Therapy: In their 4,000 sqft. facility, Warfighter Made brings together veterans from all branches and eras. Working alongside others who have shared similar experiences, veterans build confidence, improve communication skills, and find support. This program is particularly helpful for managing stress related to Post Traumatic Stress.
-
Recreational Therapy Retreats: Ill, injured, and combat-wounded veterans are invited to participate in these retreats. The goal is to create a fun and supportive environment that strengthens family connections.
-
S.T.E.M. Educational Program: Warfighter Made offers a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.) based educational program for the children of veterans. Students learn character development traits, environmental responsibility, and the importance of preserving trails and parks for future generations1.
Their work extends beyond these programs, as they collaborate with other nonprofits, businesses, and individuals to ensure veterans receive the best possible experiences. If you’d like to support their mission, consider making a tax-deductible donation
